DCR is capable of producing up to 2,200 spools per month (large and small bore). Our capabilities encompass all of the materials encountered in the piping industry, including carbon steel, chrome moly creep strength enhanced ferritic steels, stainless and duplex stainless steels, and nickel based alloys, as well as jacketed and clad piping systems. We are certified for application of the ASME "PP" and "S" stamp work and can provide CE Marking for European Union conformance.

Fabrication is managed throughout DCR's material control system which systematically indentifies and tracks the material and fabrication status of pipe spools through production, from receipt of raw materials/components to shipment. Spool status is updated daily.

Spool tracking begins at receipt of the isometric drawings where material requirements are identified. Our material control system maintains these material identity requirements throughout the fabrication process.

DCR's pipe spools drawings (Acorn and/or SpoolGen) identify all quality requirements applicable to a particular pipe spool and DCR inspection & test plans ensure that critical customer, code and DCR requirements are clearly communicated to shop craftsmen as well as quality control personnel. DCR's detailing capabilities include 2D and 3D support systems to handle all customer drawing formats.

Welding of all pipe spools is accomplished by highly skilled craftsmen and inspected by our ASNT level III or CWI led QC inspectors. In addition to inspecting 100% of all pipe spools welds, DCR's QC also inspects 100% of the spools for dimensional accuracy, configuration and material identity.
